The Needlework Trade Group was formed in the spring of 2008. It was formed to fulfill a demand from needlework companies and retailers for small, purely needlework, trade shows. It was decided that these shows would ‘travel’ to different parts of the country, making it easy for retailers to attend.

TNTG originally consisted of eight companies who held their first two shows at Manchester and Warwick in August, 2008. These were tremendously successful, and the group received numerous requests from retailers in other parts of the country requesting ‘their shows’. This resulted in five more shows being held at Gatwick, Bristol, Falkirk, Warwick and Harrogate in 2009, all very well received. Now the group is made up of twelve companies and so far six shows are planned for 2010.

All shows are held on Sundays at hotels which are easily accessible and which give special rates to retailers who wish to stay. Most are in pleasant locations, making weekend breaks tempting! Lunch and refreshments are provided at each show, and there is ample opportunity for everyone to relax and chat, and place orders of course!
